9:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M.

Welcome Activities: Students will be encouraged to participate in welcome activities before beginning the day. These are thematically planned and offered for all ages. They may include…

Intention Setting: Students are guided to set intentions for the day and/or week. This may include learning a new skill, finding interest in a new project, taking on a new piece of work, literature, writing etc. This is a great way to develop independence, executive functioning skills and self-motivation.

Morning Meeting: Students will meet to begin the day greeting each other, singing songs, tracking the weather and sharing important parts of our day. This is student-led and develops organically as the students begin to develop relationships and interests.

Workshop: During our workshop period, students will be participating in teacher-directed, group and independent activities. This may include Literacy Circles, Book Clubs, Guided Reading, Phonics Instruction, Writer’s Workshop. During this time, students can also work on an independent homeschool curriculum.

Community Lunch: Students will eat lunch outdoors together when weather permits.

Our half-day options can be applied to either the Morning or Afternoon. This is a great option for our younger learners!
